sep 01, 2002 peter, one of the makers in the north carolina guild had the harbor freight mini-mill that had problem after problem with use. there is one on display in the harbor freight store where i live and it is coming apart. i have the taig mini-mill and like it a lot. it is capable of reasonably heavy cuts and has excellent precision. my two cents.
